Meet the team

Spencer leidl, chiropodist

Spencer became interested in the healthcare field while completing her degree in biology at McMaster University. She recently completed her advanced diploma in Chiropody with distinction at the Michener Institute in 2024 and has had hands-on experience in both private and community practice settings.

As an avid dancer, she was first introduced to the chiropody field after an injury and was intrigued by the diverse and variable nature of the practice. She holds a particular interest in injury rehabilitation and prevention and is dedicated to keeping up to date with the latest treatment breakthroughs and information.

Outside of work, Spencer loves cooking and continues to ballroom dance with her husband, Casey.

Hi, I’m Rachel Benedetti, a passionate and dedicated chiropodist specializing in foot and lower limb care.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences at Brock University, where I developed a strong foundation in health and biological sciences. I earned my Chiropody qualifications at the Michener Institute and have a special interest in preventative care, diabetic care, biomechanics, and minor surgical procedures.

I’m committed to helping people move comfortably and confidently, whether it’s managing chronic foot conditions, treating injuries, or simply supporting day-to-day foot health. I take a patient-first approach—listening carefully, creating personalized treatment plans, and empowering my patients with the knowledge they need to stay active and pain-free.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors through activities like hiking and camping. Growing up, basketball was a big part of my life. I’ve managed to continue to stay active by playing in a women’s soccer league and play lots of pickleball-when the weather is nice!

Rachael haunton, chiropodist

As a registered chiropodist, I’m passionate about helping people move comfortably and confidently. I provide full-scope chiropody foot and ankle care — from routine nail and skin care to orthotics, injections, and minor surgical procedures— with a focus on evidence-based treatment and a warm, personalized approach.

I completed my chiropody training at the Michener Institute and hold a degree in biochemistry from Queen’s University. Having experienced chronic foot pain myself as a teen athlete, I understand how important the right care can be — and I’m here to help others find relief.

I truly enjoy helping people get back to the activities they love — whether that’s chasing after grandkids, running their first race, or simply walking without pain.

Outside the clinic, I’m usually running, working out/playing pickleball with my friends, or spending time with my family (and my dog and three cats 🐾)…
