DIABETIC foot care
People with diabetes are at higher risk for foot complications due to reduced sensation, poor circulation, and slower healing. Regular foot care helps prevent issues like ulcers, infections, and serious complications. Our diabetic foot assessments include skin and nail care, vascular and neurological testing, and education on daily foot health and prevention strategies.

Diabetes can reduce circulation and sensation, increasing the risk of unnoticed injuries, infections, and delayed healing. Routine foot care helps detect problems early and prevent serious complications.
-
We perform a thorough foot exam, check circulation and sensation, safely trim nails, treat corns or calluses, and provide education on proper foot hygiene and footwear.
-
This depends on your risk level, but many patients come every 6–8 weeks for monitoring and maintenance. Our chiropodists will recommend how often appointments should be. Typically, diabetics should be assessed at least once per year.
-
Many extended health plans cover diabetic foot care provided by a licensed chiropodist. We provide receipts you can submit for reimbursement.
