Routine foot care
Routine foot care involves the regular maintenance of skin, nails, and overall foot health—especially important for individuals with diabetes, poor circulation, arthritis, or mobility challenges. Treatment may include nail trimming, callus and corn reduction, skin care, and monitoring for early signs of more serious issues. Routine foot care helps prevent complications, reduce pain, and keep you comfortably on your feet.

Anyone can benefit, but it’s especially important for seniors, people with diabetes, poor vision, limited mobility, or difficulty managing their own foot care safely.
-
It typically includes nail trimming and thinning, reduction of corns or calluses, moisturizing, and a foot health assessment. Education on home care and footwear may also be provided.
-
Most patients return every 6–10 weeks, but this depends on your individual needs, health conditions, and how quickly your nails and skin build up.

Many extended health plans cover chiropody services, including routine care. We provide detailed receipts you can submit for reimbursement.
